So, I haven’t been tagged in this but I stumbled across it on Perfectly Tolerable book blog and wanted to give it a go.
Let’s give it a go…
How many books do you usually read at once?
Usually around 3, one physical, one eARC and one audiobook.
How do you decide when to switch between multiple reads?
Depends on what I’m doing at the time, if I’m writing blog posts, doing chores or walking then I listen to my audiobook. Downstairs I read my physical book and I read my kindle in bed.
Do you ever switch bookmarks partway through a book?
No, being honest I don’t always use actually bookmarks, sometimes its scrap paper or even dog ear the books, I honestly don’t mind this.
Where do you keep the book(s) you’re currently reading?
I don’t have a specific place, usually just near me.
What time of day do you read the most?
Mainly at night, I have a 2 year old so I don’t get to read much until he goes to bed.
How long do you typically read in one session?
During the day I just snatch a couple of chapters, however, at night I can read for a couple of hours.
Do you read hardbacks with the dust jacket off?
I didn’t use to, but it was so frustrating and the jackets started to rip so recently I have been taking them off.
What position do you mainly use to read?
Usually lead down surrounded by pillows, either on my sofa or bed.
Do you take your current read with you everywhere you go?
Normally yes, unless on the rare occasions that I have to go to a social event where it’s not acceptable to take my book out half way through!
How often do you update your Goodreads reading progress?
Usually just when I start the book and then when I finish, however, sometimes I do update it when I just scroll through Goodreads.
What book(s) are you currently reading?
Blackout by Robinson Wells (audiobook)
Injections of Insanity by Lorraine Mace (eARC)
The Demon King by (paperback)
see you in the next one…
