It’s been a long time since I did a book tag and while I was reading blogs this morning I came across this tag that Annemieke from A Dance with Books posted which was first first created by Tanya from girlxoxo. It looked so fun that I just had to see what my answers would be and share them with you.
Let’s jump in…

First Book Read in 2022

The Night Swim by Megan Goldin
I’m so happy I started the year off with a bang, listening to this on audio was definitely the right move. It was so addictive I loved the formatting of the two overlapping stories, would absolutely recommend this.
First Review Posted in 2022
As I haven’t been that active on the blog this year I haven’t actually posted a full dedicated review yet. I have posted a catch up with mini reviews which you can find here.
First Book of 2022 by a Debut Author

The Last Wish (The Witcher #0.5) by Andrzej Sapkowski
I ended up binging the first two collections of short stories and I’m half way through the first novel. I really enjoy Geralt as a character and learning about the history of the Witcher’s as well as the monsters.
First Book of 2022 by a New to Me Author

Psychopaths Anonymous by Will Carver
Will Carver has been on my radar for a long time and I’m so glad to finally have picked up one of his books, there are still so many on my TBR that I hope to get to this year.
First Self-Published Book of 2022

The Written (Emaneska #1) by Ben Galley (Currently Reading)
I’m about 20% into this book and I’m absolutely loving it so far, I’ve not read much fantasy this year so it’s nice to get lost in another world.
First Book of 2022 That Slayed Me

The Nothing Man by Catherine Ryan Howard
I absolutely loved this, The Nothing Man is the second book that I’ve read by Catherine Ryan Howard and it didn’t disappoint. When I say I couldn’t put this book down I genuinely mean it, I stayed in the bath for almost two hours just two finish it.
First Book of 2022 That I Wish I Could Get Back the Time I Spent Reading It
Thankfully so far this isn’t something that I’ve had to deal with.

If you’ve took part in this tag then leave your links below I’d love to read your answers.
See you in the next one…

Yeay for filling it in too 😀 I still need to get on the Witcher!
