So I know it’s been a little while since I’ve popped in but I’ve still been reading your blog posts and looking through book twitter and I’ve just missed being part of this community.

As it’s been so long since I last did any sort of wrap up for you guys I thought I would pick out the most memorable books from the last few months and give you a short overview of my thoughts with my rating.
Let’s get stuck in…

First three books in the Six Stories series on audio

All of these books have been incredible on audio, I don’t want to go into each book individually as I went into these books blind and I believe that definitely increased my experience. If you are unfamiliar with the premise of this series our main character Scott King is a podcast host who each book chooses a new cold case to tell from six points of view. If you are a fan of true crime podcasts then I would definitely recommend listening to these books on audio, I’ve just started book four and I don’t want this series to end.

Saga Volumes 3 – 7

So I was pretty sick the other week and couldn’t concentrate long enough to read a book but ended up binging five volumes of the Saga graphic novels. I love these, they make me laugh and the art is absolutely beautiful. I believe I only have two volumes left so hopefully I will be finishing them this weekend.

Three Stand Out Books

The Night Swim by Megan Goldin
You have probably seen this book everywhere, I know I certainly have and that definitely made me want to read it. I listened to it on audio as again this is a true crime podcast and I believe that was the right decision because I just couldn’t get enough. I loved that we had two storylines which kept me on the edge of my seat. I really enjoyed this book and I will be reading more from this author.

The Nothing Man by Catherine Ryan Howard
Wow. This is the second book I’ve read from the author and I wish I would have done a full dedicated review for this book as soon as I’d finished because I absolutely loved it. The sole survivor of a serial killer has written a book to try and catch the man who killed her family almost twenty years ago. This is a book within a book and I just couldn’t stop reading, if you’re a fan of true crime then I definitely recommend this.

Psychopaths Anonymous by Will Carver
This is a book like no other, I don’t even know how to review it. Maeve is an awful person but I absolutely loved her and this book made me laugh out loud in a very dark comedic way. I also loved the structure of this book, it’s definitely not going to be for everyone.
