So I was looking through my drafted blog posts and I found the Books I’ll Probably Never Read tag which Lauren tagged me to do back in May 2019 oops, better late than never!
A really hyped book you are not interested in reading:
The Starless Sea by Erin Morgenstern
I’ve heard lots of reviews both positive and not so great, the idea of this just isn’t for me, I don’t enjoy whimsy books with not much logic or plot so I will be giving this a miss.
Series you won’t be starting/finishing:
Starting: The Caraval Series by Stephanie Garber
This just doesn’t interest me in the slightest, I’ve also heard that the series goes down hill from the first book.
Finishing: The Collector Series by Dot Hutchison
I absolutely loved the original trilogy and where it ended, however she published a fourth book The Vanishing Season last year and I just don’t think I want to continue anymore, in my eyes it will just remain a trilogy.
A classic you are not interested in:
Emma by Jane Austin
There are very few classics that I’m interested in reading so this was just the one that I picked at random.
A genre you never read:
Romance and every single sub-genre that falls underneath, this isn’t my jam and I never feel the want to read any.
A book on your shelves you will probably never actually read:
The Girls by Emma Cline
I enjoyed the concept of this book at the time that I bought it, however that was over 3 years and I still haven’t wanted to pick it up.
