Book Lists, book tag

-| Bookending Autumn: Spicy Pumpkin Latte Book Tag |-

So, I know that I’m a couple of days behind, but I just had to do this tag as it’s hosted by the wonderful Meeghan!!

This post is part of Bookending Autumn 2019, which is organised by Sam & Clo! The prompt for today, “Every Witch Needs a Familiar” is hosted by Meeghan over at Meeghan Reads If you want to do this prompt, please don’t forget to link back to Meeghan’s post!

Prompt Explanation: Autumn is when the beverage names at the local coffee shop start to look more like a harvest produce list than anything from a drinks menu. What better way to celebrate this oddity than to do an autumnal drinks book tag?!

Rules:

  • Link back to the original post here
  • Thank the person who tagged you
  • Do the prompts below
  • Tag some friends
  • Most importantly – have fun!

The Teleporter by Lee Hall
This book completely took me by surprise, I rated it 5 stars!
If you haven’t read my review, catch it here.

Godsgrave (The Nevernight Chronicle #2) by Jay Kristoff
You know the two scenes I’m on about!!

Heartstopper: Volume Two by Alice Oseman
How could I not choose this, this melted even my cold heart!

The Betrayal of Ka (The Transprophetics #1) by Shea R. Oliver
This is very different to my usual reads, you can read my review here.

I’ve only read the first book in the Orphan X series as I found Evan Smoak our assassin super bland! It didn’t make me want to rush to read the next book.

The House at the End of Hope Street by Menna Van Praag
I know that it may seem shocking to have a book like this on my blog. However, I read this one night about 3 years ago when my insomnia was at an extreme high and I finished it in the one sitting. I may have to read this again soon, it was definitely magical.

The only person that I could think of for this prompt was Queen Levana from the Lunar Chronicles.

The Case by Leopold Borstinski
Oh boy! I could go on about this book for ages. The amount of times I had to read about how sexy a woman’s’ bush was is actually ridiculous!

Ana from The Kingdom by Jess Rothenberg. I feel like she needs a lot of loving and support.
Imagine finding out that you were actually created just for the pleasure of those who attend the park.

I love Jack, she is my favourite character from the Wayward Children series especially from Down Among the Sticks and Bones.
I don’t know what it is about her but I just feel like I want to take her under my wing and look after her!

  2. Woo, thanks for the tag! 💙Love your answers to these prompts. I still need to read the Betrayal of Ka but it’s also quite diff to what I usually read so I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about it. But I’m so glad to hear that you loved it! And yees, Godsgrave 😆
