Top 5 Saturday

-| Top 5 Saturday… Books Over 500 Pages on my TBR |-

So, Top 5 Saturday is hosted by Mandy over at Devouring Books, as you can see from the title, today’s topic is books over 500 pages.
(All of the titles link back to their Goodreads page)

These are all books on my TBR.
So let’s jump straight in…

The Blind Assassin by Margaret Atwood

Paperback: 637 pages

I’ve had this on my bookcase for about 2 years now, since reading The Handmaids Tale I’ve wanted to read more by this author, I’m just a little intimidated by the size of it!

The Bone Collector (Lincoln Rhyme #1) by Jeffery Deaver

Paperback: 528 pages

I’ve watched this movie and I really loved it, I do want to read this book so I can carry on with the series as it’s something I think I would definitely get stucked into.

The Demon King (Seven Realms #1) by Cinda Williams China

Paperback: 506 pages

This was added to my TBR after watching Brittany the Bibliophile review it on her channel. I really need to pick this up from my library.

The Good Daughter by Karin Slaughter

Paperback: 515 Pages

This was really popular about 2 years ago, I haven’t read anything by the author yet but I’ve heard such good things about this.

NOS4A2 by Joe Hill

Paperback: 720 pages

Ok, so I borrowed this from the library and read the first chapter then became so intimidated that I returned it. As it’s coming up to spooky season I definitely want to give it another shot!

Have you read any of these?
Do you have any recommendations for books with more than 500 pages?

See you in the next one…

  1. I’m not familiar with N0S4A2, but after reading the description that one looks pretty good. I did read a rather long one recently that I really enjoyed. The Throne of the Five Winds with 704 pages and comes out next month. It is an Asian-inspired epic fantasy story that is complex with what feels like a ton of characters. But what amazed me when I began reading it was how I could read for hours and still barely make a dent in the percentage completion number.

  2. Great list! I think I’ve had the Blind Assassin on my shelf for about 2 years as well 😅 I loved Handmaid’s Tale and I was so excited to read something else by Atwood and then… 🙈Hopefully I’ll get to it soon! I think next month will be a great time to read NOS4A2 although I know I’m going to be majorly creeped out hahaha
