-| Book Tag – My Name in Books Tag |-

So, I did just want to apologise a little as I know that I haven’t been putting my all into my posts recently. My Nan passed away suddenly earlier in the week and as I moved to Liverpool about 6 years ago none of my family live here so my head has been up my ass recently and I will be travelling back and forth while crashing with family members. Hopefully I will be able to concentrate more in the upcoming weeks.

I haven’t been tagged in this but I did see it over on Book Hooked Nook and decided to give it a go.
I have tried to pick books that I don’t mention as often and/or are not as well known.

Let’s jump right in…

Rules

  • Spell out your blog’s name.
  • Find a book from your TBR that begins with each letter.

NOTE: You cannot ADD to your TBR to complete this challenge – the books must already be on your Goodreads TBR. Don’t cheat my friends!!!!!

F – Follow Me (Social Media Murders #1) by Angela Clarke

You may have seen me mention this series one or two times, however I don’t believe that this get’s enough recognition. I really love this and I think that it’s perfect for those who enjoy the dark side of social media and technology.

E – Eeny Meeny (Helen Grace #1) by M. J. Arlidge

This is one of my favourite police procedural series, I think there are currently 8 books and I’m actually up to date and impatiently awaiting news on number 9!

E – Elantris (Elantris #1) by Brandon Sanderson

Since I’ve been exploring new genres focusing more on fantasy I have been seeing this author everywhere! If you have any recommendations on which book I should start with then please leave a comment below.

D – Duality (Lies and Misdirection #5) by K. J. McGillick

This book surprised me so much! If you missed my review you can catch it here.

T – The Teacher (DS Imogen Grey #1) by Katerina Diamond

I remember really enjoying this book and I do have the next two books in the series I just haven’t got around to reading them yet.

H – The Hiding Place by John Burley

I remember absolutely loving this book when I was heavily pregnant and struggling to sleep. I haven’t seen this book anywhere and it’s seriously underrated!

E Endgame (Fawkes and Baxter #3) by Daniel Cole

You can catch my recent review of this book here.

C – The Crow Girl by Erik Axl Sund

I love this so much! It is a mammoth book but it is so worth it! It’s around 800 pages as this edition has translated the trilogy into the one book.

R – Roses of May (The Collector #2) by Dot Hutchison

I love this trilogy (yes they have now published a fourth book but I don’t know if I want to read it) I don’t think that this book lived up to the first book, but on it’s own it definitely is original.

I – Inferno (Robert Langdon #4) by Dan Brown

This is my favourite book in the series, so much better than the movie.
I do enjoy books surrounding plagues and overpopulation, not sure what it says about me as a person though!

M – Misery by Stephen King

I recently read this for The Reading Rush, it’s the first book that I’ve read by Stephen King and it’s definitely left me wanting to try more of his books.

E – Extinction of All Children by L.J. Epps

I feel like this has been on my TBR for a little while now and I haven’t really seen that much about it. Please let me know if you have read this.

See you guys in the next one…

  1. I’m so sorry (I know that is woefully ineffective) but don’t apologize. You need to be with those that provide comfort. Your blog isn’t your priority right now (unless it provides you comfort and even then I wouldn’t say it is a “priority”). It will be here when you are ready to return.

  4. You don’t need to apologize, love! I’m so sorry to hear about your Nan. Wishing all the best for you and your family! ❤ I haven't read Elantris before, but my best friend has been trying to get me to read it for years. Hopefully I'll pick it up soon! I hope Sanderson ends up being a hit for you! Happy reading!
