|| Reviewing… The Perfect Wife by JP Delaney | Social Media Blast || @QuercusBooks #ThePerfectWife

I’m super excited to be involved in the social media blast! Especially on the publication day of The Perfect Wife by JP Delaney!

I’m so excited to share this with you, so let’s jump right in…

Abbie awakens in a daze with no memory of who she is or how she landed in this unsettling condition. The man by her side claims to be her husband. He’s a titan of the tech world, the founder of one of Silicon Valley’s most innovative start-ups. He tells Abbie that she is a gifted artist, an avid surfer, a loving mother to their young son, and the perfect wife. He says she had a terrible accident five years ago and that, through a huge technological breakthrough, she has been brought back from the abyss.
She is a miracle of science.
But as Abbie pieces together memories of her marriage, she begins questioning her husband’s motives–and his version of events. Can she trust him when he says he wants them to be together forever? And what really happened to Abbie half a decade ago?
Beware the man who calls you . . . -Goodreads-

This is the third book by JP Delaney and I have loved every single one! I actually didn’t read the synopsis for this, I just saw Delaney and knew I had to read it. So you can imagine my surprise when our main character Abbie wakes up to be told that shes actually a cobot that her husband designed after she disappeared just under 5 years ago within the first two pages!

Oh man where do I begin? Delaney’s writing it captivating, I get pulled in and I just can’t escape! This is one of those books where you have to stay up all night just to finish it!
The originality of this book is what I loved the most, yet I don’t want to spoil it for you. The Perfect Wife has definitely just kicked The Girl Before from the top spot by this author!

I absolutely loved that their son Danny has Autism, this is a main part of the story which adds an extra depth to the story and characters. I also found it really informative as it’s not something that we come across that often in books. If you get the chance to read the acknowledgements you will see that the authors son is actually autistic so he is writing from experience.

As it is a thriller I can’t say very much as this is so much better when you jump in blind.
5 cups of coffee out of 5 for sure! I just absolutely loved the creativity of this book!

See you in the next one…
