So, as you can tell by the title it is my stop on The Controller blog tour, it has been running since 17th May and i’m in the closing week so you have probably seen this around.
Let’s get started…
It is six years since special agent Samuel Lynch left the FBI following the disappearance of his son, Daniel. Lynch believes an underground organisation known as The Railroad is responsible and has never stopped searching.
When Special Agent Sandra Rose investigates a house invasion gone wrong, she discovers the assailant has the legendary, and infamous, Railroad tattoo carved onto his back and he claims to know Daniel’s whereabouts.
Rose draws Lynch in to her case, and together they become embroiled in an unparalleled world of violence and evil.
It seems that to see his son again, Lynch will have to confront his greatest fear and face the ultimate test: an encounter with the Railroad’s enigmatic and deadly leader, The Controller. – Goodreads –
Ok, here goes… I enjoyed this so much! I read this in just 2 days which I don’t actually get to do too often due to my little human.
This is the definition of a thriller! It made me shout at the book.. Does the Railroad even exist? Who is The Controller and what did he do with Lynch’s son all them years ago!
Believe me when I say that you are in for a while ride!
I loved the two main characters in this book, I’m a little more invested in Rose which surprised me. She is just a badass who has been thrown into this situation with Lynch, she doesn’t know him and she now doesn’t know who she can trust. I really love the dynamic between them and I was so sad when I finished this book, I definitely need more from both Rose and Lynch!
I can never go into too much detail about my reactions and feelings to thrillers because the whole point of them is the suspense and reveals. Just know that I massively recommend this and I’m already impatiently waiting for my next fix of them!
The Controller gets 4.5 cups of coffee out of 5 (is it unfair that I took half a cup out because I already miss the characters?)
