So I have decided to take on this mammoth tag, it is 26 questions long! The creator is Jamie @ The Perpetual Page-Turner — make sure to give her some love! Let’s get stuck in!
Author you’ve read the most books from

I would have to say M.J. Arlidge, there are 8 books in the Helen Grace series and I have not read anymore in other series.
Best Sequel Ever:
I think that this has to be The Executioner by Chris Carter, I love the thrill of his books, they just keep getting better.
Currently Reading:
I have just started reading Vox Christina Dalcher as well as I Want You Gone by Miranda Rijks.
Drink of Choice While Reading:
If i’m at home then it is always a cup of tea, however, if I had my own way or was out of the house, it would always be a caramel macchiato.
E-reader or Physical Book?
I will always choose physical books over an E-reader. I do have a lot of eBooks, however that is due to NetGalley and upcoming blog tours. I feel like I enjoy the book more when I can actually hold it and turn the pages.
Fictional Character You Probably Would Have Actually Dated In High School:
Being honest the majority of books that I read don’t have characters that I would want to date haha!
Glad You Gave This Book A Chance:
1984 by George Orwell, I have become interested in Dystopian novels and I’m really glad that I started with this book.
Hidden Gem Book:
The House at the End of Hope Street by Menna van Praag. This is a book that is completely different to my usual reads, it was before I had NetGalley and I had no eBooks and no physical books with me at the time. This was the free book of the week on iTunes so I downloaded it and just fell in love with it.
Important Moment in your Reading Life:
I lost my Dad when I was 17, it was a devastating time and I think that is when I first started to appreciate the escapism of books.
Just Finished:
You Have a Lovely Voice, Susan by Susan Fensten and Alabaster Alibi by S.D. Brown.
Kinds of Books You Won’t Read:
I won’t read Erotica and romance, I just don’t enjoy the style of writing and there really not something that I would enjoy reading.
Longest Book You’ve Read:
I am Pilgrim by Terry Hayes at 894 pages!
Major book hangover because of:

Definitely the Social Media Murders trilogy by Angela Clarke. I definitely would of loved this to be continued into a series rather than just stopped at a trilogy.
Number of Bookcases You Own:
1 large one and 1 smaller one, if I had my way there definitely would be more, however we just simply don’t have the space at the moment.
One Book You Have Read Multiple Times:
I’ve never actually read a book more than once, I discussed this more in my 20 Questions post.
Preferred Place To Read:
Definitely in bed, this is usually the only place I can do the majority of reading, once my little boy is asleep.
Quote that inspires you/gives you all the feels from a book you’ve read:
I actually don’t have any quotes that I remember,
Reading Regret:
I think the only regret I have is not reading the classics before finding crime fiction and thrillers, I have become so used to the fast pace and drama that I think I will struggle staying interested in books such as Jayne Eyre. However, I have recently been given beautiful editions of 4 classic books which I will share with you soon, hopefully this will give me the incentive to read them.
Series You Started And Need To Finish(all books are out in series):
I’ve read the first 2 books in the Alex Cross series by James Patterson, however, I have decided that I will not be reading anymore books written by him as I’ve read in The Washington Post that he doesn’t write the majority of his works these days, he uses ghost writers and works with them to have time to produce more books, he has created an empire which I don’t want to contribute towards.
Three of your All-Time Favourite Books:
The Handmaids Tale by Margaret Atwood
The Crow Girl by Erik Axl Sund
The Butterfly Garden by Dot Hutchison
Unapologetic Fangirl For:

Lars Kepler! I don’t think I will ever stop telling people how much I love this author duo, I just picked up the most recent book in paperback as I had it from NetGalley but needed it to be in my physical collection.
Very Excited For This Release More Than All The Others:
Finally the follow on to The Handmaids Tale, it’s called The Testaments by Margaret Atwood, they are making us wait till the beginning of September!
Worst Bookish Habit:
I always lose my bookmarks so I regularly dog-ear my books, I don’t think this is a bad habit as I think it adds to the character of the book, however I know that so many people absolutely hate this being done.
Your latest book purchase:
This was yesterday when I bought Vox by Christina Dalcher and The Rabbit Hunter by Lars Kepler, I have been so excited to get my hands on these.
ZZZ-snatcher book (last book that kept you up WAY late):
My Lovely Wife by Samantha Downing, I couldn’t put this book down!
I hope you enjoyed reading this, if you have taken part in this then please leave your link below, I would love to read it.
Until next time…

I hope you enjoy VOX. I thought it was fascinating (scary, but I loved it)! And I’m with you on not re-reading books. Well, except for Catch-22. That one I’ve read about four times.

I prefer physical copies of books to ereaders too.

Same! I got my very first ereader this year. I’ve noticed it takes a little longer for me to finish reading an ebook.

I don’t feel as excited to keep reading on the tablet, don’t get me wrong it’s fab that you can have so many books on the one device that you can take with you but it’s just not the same.
