I have been lagging behind with my NetGalley reads so much so that I have 14 that I have been accepted for but not yet read. It’s just so hard to chose between them all!
So anyway, last night I finished The Confession by Jo Spain and wow..
my head still hasn’t come to terms with what happened in this book, it was seriously addictive and had more twists than a country road.
Straight away you are thrown in to a brutal attack on a rich banker Harry McNamara while his wife watched. This brings up so many questions, what did he deserve the attack? Is it really possible that JP just happened to get into the house and carry out the supposedly random attack. And why did JP then hand himself in?
I could not put this book down as the short chapters from each viewpoint leaving little breadcrumbs was so thrilling.
Rating: 5/5
I would definitely recommend this book to those who love fast paced thrillers.
Thank you again to NetGalley for this early copy of the book.
Now, which one to read next…
